X–keys^® Legends

Blank Legend Templates

Recently, we introduced a new legend sheet with more keys in straight rows and columns to make it easier to align and print the legends on your laser printer. These templates make it easy to enter text or icons to identify your keys and print them out on the adhesive backed legend sheet included with your X–keys. We also offer additional label sheets as an accessory in our Online Store.

We recommend printing a test page on plain paper prior to using the precut legend sheet as some slight adjustment of page margins or positioning may be required to align the template with your printer.

Please check the layout of the die cut legend sheet you have and download the appropriate template for Microsoft Word or Adobe Photoshop. To download, right-click link and "Save As" in your desired location on your local computer.

Legends

Standard legend sheets contain a five-pack of legends with 70 single keys, 4 vertical keys and 3 horizontal keys. Total Keycap Legend Stickers: 385.

Double tall legend sheets contain a five-pack of legends, with 36 per page. Total Keycap Legend Stickers: 180.

Quad legend sheets contain a five-pack of legends, with 15 per page. Total Keycap Legend Stickers: 75.

Horizontal legend sheets contain a five-pack of legends, with 35 per page. Total Keycap Legend Stickers: 175.

Pre made Legend Templates

These templates contain defined layouts for specific software applications. Many of these layouts have associated programming Data Files that will soon be located in the Resources section of this site. Data Files can be downloaded and selected with MacroWorks II or written into your USB X–keys with Macro Recorder.

Note -When printing keycap legends, first print test pages on plain white printer paper in low resolution to adjust the left and top margins to fit the die-cut legend sheet. You can hold the paper against the legend, face them towards a light and get a basic idea of the placement. Adjust accordingly. Over time, people have come up with some pretty cool stuff, soon you can check it out here as well.
